Iranian, Objects, Words

Iranian, Objects, Words by Amirmasoud Agharebparast

It is clear that most nations have a very different personality regardless of their appearance, but the issues of assimilation can be a common problem among most immigrants. As an Iranian, it felt more natural to start the project within my community here in state college, but additional projects including other nationalities will be researched with the intention to promote similar conversations.

The purpose of the work is for the audience to get the idea that the appearance of people tells so little about personalities. Therefore by looking at the texts and their objects, an audience will understand more about these people but requires more time to move in the space and relate objects, sentences and people with each other. Therefore, this work not only shows the issue of assimilation but also engage the viewer in a grid puzzle in front of them.
