Waters’ Colours by Professor Katarin Parizek

The Brick Lane Gallery in London will feature an invited solo exhibition by Professor Katarin (Katie) Parizek titled Waters’ Colours.  The exhibition will be on display June 18-24 in the Brick Lane Gallery Annexe, 93-95 Sclater Street, London, with an opening reception Wednesday, June 19, 6-8:30 p.m.

Waters’ Colours is a growing body of abstract, colorful, and playful photographic work about water. “It is drawn from reflections and is very reflective,” says Parizek. "Water is ever changing and fluid; each new force creates a ripple of pure potential. As I continue to study water, I have observed how waters’ colours have influenced many artists, from the glass artists of Murano, to the work of Gustav Klimit, Willem De Kooning, Savador Dali, and architecture of Antoni Gaudi.”
