The John M. Anderson Endowed Lecture Series is proud to present visiting artist and lecturer, Mark Sheinkman, Wednesday, September 18, at 4:30 p.m. in the Palmer Lipcon Auditorium.
Sheinkman is a New York City-based painter and printmaker. His work is included in major collections including the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC, the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, and the Bibliothèque Nationale, in Paris, France, among many others. His work has been exhibited extensively in the United States and abroad, and reviewed in the New York Times, Art in America, and ARTnews, among other publications.
Sheinkman earned a summa cum laude Bachelor of Arts degree in art history and studio art at Princeton University. His work is represented by the Von Lintel Gallery and Pace Prints in New York and is in the permanent collection of the Palmer Museum of Art at Penn State.
