This exhibition celebrates the Penn State School of Visual Arts by featuring four MFA alumni. The exhibition includes work by Jan Crooker (MFA 76), William H. Snyder III (MFA 06), Tim Rowan (MFA 99), and Margaret Kinkeade (MFA 13) and will be on display January 20 through April 26, 2014, with an opening reception and alumni night at The Gallery on Thursday, February 6, from 5 to 7 p.m.
This group of artists represents different generations of graduates, diverse media in the visual arts, and professional excellence in their field. The installation of iPads will enable students and guests to learn more about each artist and the School of Visual Arts while viewing the work in the gallery. A full-color catalog will be available.
Now at its new campus, Penn State Lehigh Valley has embraced the rich artistic history of the Lehigh Valley area by infusing the visual arts into its campus culture and engaging practicing artists through gallery exhibitions, workshops, and demonstrations. Through this exhibition students will be exposed to the notion of advanced-degree studies in the arts and the myriad outcomes.
