Announcing SoVA's 2015/2016 Scholarship and Award Recipients

Awards Ceremony pic

The Penn State School of Visual Arts would like to congratulate all of the students who received awards or scholarships (see below for complete list). Through the support of our generous donors, our scholarship program continues to grow. This support has made it possible for current SoVA students to pursue their creative passions, both inside and outside the classroom.  The creative spirit of a place like SoVA never really stops.  It simply gets passed along to others who share an enduring imaginative energy.  It is through the efforts of supportive friends and alumni that we can continue to educate the designers, artists and art educators of the future.

Nothing we do to improve the quality of a Penn State education will matter if students and families can’t afford the opportunities we offer. Scholarships are our highest priority. With your help, we can ensure that the School of Visual Arts' offerings remain accessible for students whose means may be limited, but whose talents and ambitions are limitless. Procedures for gift giving can be found at http://sova.psu.edu/giving.
