Zena Tredinnick-Kirby is a Ph.D. candidate at The Pennsylvania State University, pursuing a degree in art education with a concentration in art history. Her research focuses on the misrepresentation of the female body and limited representation of feminist art and art made by women in art history textbooks, art history courses, art museums, and art history scholarship. Tredinnick-Kirby received her Master’s from The Pennsylvania State University in art education and her Bachelor’s from The College of New Jersey in art education with a focus in art history. She proudly taught at North Hunterdon High School for ten years, teaching advanced placement art history and advanced placement photography. Tredinnick-Kirby is the recipient of the 2018 Masters in Excellence award from The Pennsylvania State University. Her art-making ranges from photography, painting, sculpture and writing. She is happily married to her Marine Corps Veteran and high-school sweetheart, Luke and together they have two beautiful children, an Australian Shepherd and reside in lovely, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.
