Born in Tidewater Virginia in 1971, Eric Roman studied and received an Associates of Art from University of Maine at Augusta in conjunction with Maine Photographic Workshops in 1993, studied and received his BFA from Pennsylvania State University in 2007, and studied and received his MFA from San Francisco Art Institute in 2010. Eric’s creative practice concentrates on investigating a complicated personal relationship to location (both physical and emotional) along with pivotal moments shaping his person.
