Chelsea Borgman is a Master's student pursuing a dual-title degree in Art Education and Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Her research focuses on utilizing art-making as an emotional strategy for grieving girls. Borgman received her B.A. at Kenyon College in Studio Art. Since graduating in 2012, Borgman served as gallery director of C-LINK Gallery at Brazee Street Studios in Cincinnati, Ohio. In addition to her role as gallery director at Brazee, Borgman taught kiln-formed glass techniques to children ages 3-18. Borgman is a contributing writer for the online arts journal Aeqai, where she focuses on reviewing pieces of performance art. Her art-making ranges from glass to, collage, and large scale installation - creating room sized interactive spaces from found or foraged materials. Borgman is the recipient of the 2019 Judy Chicago Art Education Award.
