In the summer Irish program students experience the Irish landscape through visual arts and literature. Student explore a range of rural and urban settings that include Allehies, a small village in the southwest corner of the country; Galway, a medium sized university town on the west coast; and Dublin, Ireland’s capital and largest city. Irish artists and writers give special presentations throughout the four week program that offer unique insights into cultural traditions and practices.

Open to students at all levels of experience who are interested in an indepth experience of Irish culture students. The program includes courses in visual arts and literature. At the conclusion of study in Ireland, students complete a third course, which is an independent study, arranged with either the Visual Arts or Literature instructor.
