Bang! is on display in the Edwin W. Zoller Gallery through September 27.  The work from the first group of second year MFA students features an array of student artworks, including installation, photography, ceramics, painting, sculpture, and printmaking.

A variety of themes are explored in this exhibition. Among them, Jennifer Kirkpatrick incorporates architecture and ornament; Negar Fadaei Dehkordi explores gender roles and surveillance in her native Iran; Kevin R. Mercer tells stories through his everyman character; and Roberto Lugo uses ceramics to interpret intersections between obesity, racism, and class division. Engage with our students’ innovative art that challenges and provokes dialogue within and across cultures and media.
