SCULPTURE STUDIO FACILITIES

The Sculpture studio includes private graduate and undergraduate studios, an open work area with garage door access, clay mixing and modeling areas, a wax-working room, ceramic shell area, a welding/forging room, a complete foundry for pouring bronze and aluminum, a photo documentation area, a gallery space for small exhibitions and/or installations, and an outdoor courtyard with work space and vehicle access. The Sculpture area is adjacent to the Visual Arts Shop which is maintained by a staff of technicians and provides industrial-quality wood and metal fabrication facilities. All students have 24-hour access to the general work areas in the sculpture studio. B.F.A. and M.F.A. students have personal studio spaces which are also accessible 24-hours a day. The supervised wood and metals shop is open 8:00am - 9:00pm, Monday through Friday.
