METAL ART/TECHNOLOGY FACILITIES

Room 108 is the Chemical Room. Aluminum anodizing, electroforming, plating, resin casting, etching, and patination are some of the primary uses of this area. In addition to all of the chemical and dye baths used in aluminum anodizing, there is a separate smaller room for other processes (even as a darkroom) as necessary. There are also two large chemical storage cabinets and a deep basin stainless steel sink. All advanced students have 24 hour access.

The small images above are of the following rooms:
102: Beginner benches
107: Machining
108: Hammerforming
109: Chemical
110: Advanced benches
