METAL ART/TECHNOLOGY FACILITIES

Room 108 is the Hammerforming Room, outfitted with a comprehensive assortment of hammers, stakes, mandrels, vices, grooving blocks, and sinking forms. Tools and equipment are also available for chasing/repoussé, drawing wire and dapping. There is an annealing/soldering station with two large torches and a separated hot patination area, a large capacity pickle bath, a sheet/wire rolling mill, 2 anvils. and 2 deep basin stainless steel sinks. Hearing protection is required in this room at all times. All advanced students have 24 hour access.
