
Performance Art, Culture, Pedagogy Symposium, 1996
The Performance Art, Culture, Pedagogy Symposium was held for four days in November, 1996, on the University Park campus of The Pennsylvania State University. More than 350 people came to Penn State to attend performances, panel discussions, workshops, and presentations by performance artists, cultural critics, historians, and educators to examine the historical, theoretical, and experiential significance of performance art in order to distinquish its pedagogy as an emerging form of art education.
