Second Penn State International Symposium on the History of Art Education, 1989

The Second Penn State Conference on the History of Art Education was held October 12-14, 1989, on the University Park campus of The Pennsylvania State University. James D. Anderson, David Carrier, Arthur Efland, Bret Waller, and Elliot W. Eisner gave keynote addresses. More than fifty additional papers were presented at the conference, with respondents and moderators for each session. Many of the papers are published in The History of Art Education: Proceedings from the Second Penn State Conference, 1989 (1992), edited by Patricia M. Amburgy, Donald Soucy, Mary Ann Stankiewicz, Brent Wilson, and Marjorie Wilson.
